Looking into the history of perfume

Posted on

Looking into the history of perfume can actually give us an interesting perspective. Humanity have come up against disease challenges before (but with no modern healthcare or science)... and lived through. It's also amazing how revered the power of good smell was. Rosemary in particular was considered an affordable remedy against noisome air in the times of plague. Perhaps, this somehow made it assosiated with unpleasant events and hundreds of year later it is still a very rare perfume note. But we do have one distinct rosemary in our extensive collection: Aube Pashmina by Pierre Guillaume. This perfume actually smells of spring, green grass and new life. Let the spring come

Notes: basil, currant leaves, geranium, rosemary, satinwood, tomato leaves
