Purists' roses: the Halfeti rose. These special roses grow in the Halfeti farming district in Turkey. The flowers have their own unique ambery aroma defined by the soil and local climate. Halfeti roses are common pink color when on the bush but when harvested turn dramatic black. Swedoft's Black Rose is a floral oriental perfume in which the Halfeti rose is smoothly merged with oud.
