Spring's fragrant 'Hello": hyacinths. Each shade has their own aroma from the creamy heady whites to green (almost cucumber like) smelling purples. So as a perfume note hyacinth is a bit of challenge to perfumers. In our opinion Houbigant's complex Quelques Fleurs (Some Flowers) is quite close to the kaleidoscopic fragrant space above a carpet of hyacinths.
