A total delight, a Shahmaran dark rose with spicy spikes. This precious rose grows on a rock of amber and this makes its aroma deep and honeyed.

That was Bloom’s fragrant fairy tale take on describing 1001’1 Nights.

It’s a very poetic perfume inspired by the Arabic saga, a maze of stories inside a story. The materials (rose, incense, sea salt) and aesthetics (it’s a rich and generous oriental blend) totally would have fitted Scheherazade’s nights.

An olfactory portrait of Desirée Clary, the 16-year-old beauty who first captured Napoleon’s heart. This is a generous gardenia and rose, full and warm, made playful with grapefruit, pink pepper and passion fruit. A chord of amber and musk cushions the pleasure.

Ta´if is an intoxicating and audacious rose scent from the town of Ta´if which sits above the shores of the Red sea and overlooks the Arabian desert. This perfume dislikes daylight preferring dusk, the night, parties, promises and assignations. It is an opulent composition which makes a bold entrance and is confident enough to sweep everyone else to one side – a real belle of the ball.

The name means “sinful loves”, but there’s no sin in loving a perfume as irresistible as Amori Peccatori. This parfum deposits a quick kiss of fresh grapefruit and pink pepper before getting straight to the point: a plush pillow of orris, tonka bean and vanilla. The base of patchouli, amber and animalic musks lets people know you mean business.

A self-possessed perfume for a person who doesn’t need anything, but craves everything. This is excess with control, 70s-era Bianca Jagger wearing Halston, lighting up the Studio 54 dance floor. Carine is a fiercely chic patchouli with an ample gardenia and jasmine cleavage, trussed in a corset of vetiver. Sighs of rose and amber sail through the trail of this Dominique Ropion composition. Confident, elegant, insolent.

Grande Ile blends the bounty of Madagascar — vanilla, pink pepper berries and black pepper — into a sensual and comforting spicy amber. This award-winning scent blends a warm ambery accord with clove, caramel nuances and a rich woody bouquet. Contrasting notes of dry cedar, creamy vanilla, and resinous touches create depth and intrigue. Grande Ile’s enveloping trail unfolds gently on the skin, revealing evolving facets throughout the day. Depending on who you ask, this intriguing beauty moirés between Oriental lilies, a vanilla sauna, and a smoky souk.

I was inspired while visiting Kew Gardens in London in May. Every May there are hundreds of blooming magnolia trees in different sorts, sizes, scents and colours. Usually it is a very rainy season and my inspiration was to create a scent of the water and rain on magnolia trees.

The symbol of this modern perfume is an American modern dance pioneer Ruth St. Denis. She is not only a very talented performer, but also very feminine.

Divine Dancer is an ethereal, watercoloured, light, fresh, feminine floral perfume. It is modern and vivacious fruity floral scent .

The Divine Dancer perfume is dedicated to one of the first American modern dance and ballet performers Ruth St. Denis.

Her vibrant and spirited art of dance, influenced by the East and South Asia, her divine body move and incredible costumes made Ruth St. Denis a worldwide well known star. Her body projects as Temple of femininity.

When the dancer emerged from the darkness of the stage, her presence was immediately captivating, the air suddenly fragrant with her appearance. Adorned in jewels from head to toe, radiant in a special gold sari, her hair crowned in jasmine, she is an embodiment of divine feminine, mirroring the images of goddesses of Lakshmi and Saraswati but with the talented Ruth St. Denis touch of modern dance and ballet movement.
