A fougere that would have been a very classic affair (pepper, oakmoss and geranium) were it not for a wild coniferous twist of fir balsam and cedar running through the formula. The signature coumarine vibes of a fougere have also been played with and replaced by the sweet old library aroma of benzoin. Perhaps, picture a gentlemen botanist back from a field trip, now arranging his finds into a herbarium in his Oxford study.
