La Closerie des Parfums takes its name from the Parisian gardens where sensory stimulus lights up the imagination. Founder Valérie Madrid calls these closeries “magical places dedicated to artistic expression". The name references the French art of living, but also a yearning to escape. The perfumes embody both concepts; built around a single star material (eg rose, iris, patchouli) that is brought to life with spices from around the world.
