Aragon is an olfactory tribute to the Aragon region of Spain, the birthplace of Mallo. A unique aromatic fougere, the scent showcases local aromatic plant extracts from cypress, basil, thyme, rosemary and artemisia. Added to this busy mix is the pipirigallo flower, exclusive to the region. The scent is rounded off by mossy, resinous elements for a warm, enveloping feel.

Kamel was the friend who entrusted Sora Dora founder Antoine with the secrets of the oriental olfactory universe, embodied in this namesake perfume. Built around the clean woodiness of Laotian oud, this extrait contrasts the dirty spice of cumin with sweet raspberry and syrupy rose. Intoxicating aromas of exotic greenery infuse the ancient Indian forest. Yet a snake on the trail of its next meal can isolate the scent of a plump rat. But a flick of its slithering tail betrays the snake, sending the rodent darting away. Thwarted, the snake curls back upon itself, only to feel the cool touch of a menacing shadow of a towering King Cobra witnessing its failure. Now the predator becomes prey and there’s no escape. Intent on a breakfast devoured whole and without mercy, the hooded king strikes. Fangs sink deep, their venom coursing through the body of the snake. Instantly paralyzing heart and lungs, the toxins set to work dissolving the flesh from the inside out.

King Cobra from Zoologist is driven by danger and a desire to dominate. Perilla Peach & Ginger is inspired by a Hunan summer drink of lime, herbs and honeyed fruit, served in a green glass jar as a little ritual against the heat. This vivid EdP opens on a lively burst of Thai lime and aromatic perilla leaf (shiso), layered with warm ginger and ripe peach. Gentle gardenia melts into a clean trail of white musk and warm labdanum.

A soft fresh focus on clary sage after a storm, the bright flowering Mediterranean herb full of bright, uplifting tones. With classic fougere materials at the forefront and an artful blend of frankincense, tonka beans and sandalwood swirling in the background the effect is of a herb picked in the company of sweet fresh woods in the sunshine.

This extrait is named for the archipelagic country in the South Pacific Ocean, source of the sandalwood in the base. Vanuatu is a lively, confident blend of spices (black pepper, cardamom, cumin) dappled across characterful woody materials (sandalwood, patchouli, cedar and papyrus). Putting meat on the bones is fig milk, with violet leaves adding sharp sparkle. A fragrance for unexpected adventures.
