Helix
A harmonious blend of lily-of-the-valley and orange blossom meets a refreshing hint of sea salt and bright bergamot. Creamy lactonic nuances unfold, enhanced by a soft musk and earthy vetiver base for an exquisite diffusion.
All about this fragrance
Vibe check
Helix suits an unhurried afternoon near the water, when salt hangs in the air but the mood is softer than a bracing sea breeze. Its pale florals and creamy texture suggest an open, approachable presence, with enough woody grounding for close conversation once indoors.
How to wear
The citrus, marine accents and soft florals make Helix a natural choice for spring and warm weather. Start with two sprays on the neck or forearms, leaving space for the creamy floral heart to unfold. In hotter conditions, apply lightly so the salt-and-bergamot freshness remains the focus.
Who it’s for
For those who enjoy marine freshness without abandoning floral softness. Helix will appeal to tastes that favor bright citrus, orange blossom and gentle woods, especially when a creamy texture is more appealing than a sharply aquatic effect.

The nose
Jordi Fernández, a perfumer at Givaudan, composed Helix around a progression from peach to orange blossom and Mediterranean marine notes, finishing with cedarwood. His work for Carner Barcelona also includes Bo-Bo, Ibiza Nights and Sal y Limón, connecting Helix to an established exploration of the house’s Mediterranean identity.
Collaborators
Artist Josep Riera i Aragó supplied the propeller imagery that shaped Helix’s exploration theme and created its exclusive packaging illustration. Sara Carner helped frame the creative concept, drawing on the color and optimism of his work to connect the fragrance with movement and discovery.
CARNER’s story
Carner Barcelona translates Mediterranean places, emotions and memories into perfume, with Barcelona at the center of its identity. The family-founded house brings together local producers and leading perfumers, extending its craftsmanship to handmade packaging and signature wooden caps. Its focus is on lasting, personal compositions rather than passing trends.
Helix’s concept
Helix grew from a collaboration with Josep Riera i Aragó, whose propeller imagery became a symbol of movement, discovery and venturing beyond familiar territory. Jordi Fernández translated that idea into a Mediterranean composition linking fresh fruit, orange blossom and marine notes with a warm cedarwood finish.
Extra info
The launch packaging featured a golden propeller against deep blue, an exclusive illustration by Josep Riera i Aragó. Helix entered the Mediterranean Collection as its fifth fragrance, joining Salado, Rock Star, Bo-Bo and Fig Man.
