A beach bungalow on the South China Sea is the setting for this gently uplifting eau de cologne. The honest earthiness of lemongrass launches the scent, enriched by sweet orange. Grassy and camphoraceous spike lavender adds structure, while vetiver and patchouli provide depth. Sunny and reassuring.
All about this fragrance
Vibe check
After a swim, the pace slows beneath a shaded bungalow roof. Lemongrass and orange keep the mood alert and sunlit, while the earthy base suits bare feet and unhurried conversation—a relaxed presence rather than a dressed-up entrance.
How to wear
A natural choice for spring and summer, especially when warmth brings the citrus and aromatic notes into focus. Start with a light application to the wrists and upper chest, allowing the orange and lemongrass to lift around you without crowding close company. Vetiver and patchouli give the freshness an earthy counterweight.
Who it’s for
For those who enjoy citrus with a green, earthy backbone rather than sugary brightness. Its grassy lavender, lemongrass and vetiver will appeal to lovers of aromatic freshness who want a relaxed, nature-led fragrance with some texture beneath the sunlight.

The nose
Seunghyun Lim is Circle of Lim’s perfumer, drawing on an art-world background and sensory experiences gathered through travel, food and art. Working between Seoul and Jeju, she approaches fragrance through natural materials and closely observed settings. For Mister Bungalow, she used sweet orange and earthy patchouli to support the green, sweet-spicy character of lemongrass.
Circle of Lim’s story
Circle of Lim is a natural perfume house concerned with the relationship between people and nature. Its approach combines small-batch handcraft with ingredient transparency, plant-derived materials and restrained packaging. Fragrances are presented without gender stereotypes, with travel, food and art informing their sensory narratives.
Mister Bungalow’s concept
Mister Bungalow imagines a retreat on Vietnam’s eastern coast: a swim before sunset, warm sand and lemongrass-infused water beneath a coconut-leaf roof. Its development drew on the scent of lemongrass in Southeast Asian coastal settings, particularly Da Nang’s spas. Sweet orange and patchouli helped preserve the desired sunny, earthy impression while limiting the amount of citral-rich lemongrass.
Extra info
The fragrance-material blend is composed entirely of essential oils; this does not mean the whole bottle is pure oil, as the finished fragrance also contains alcohol, water and butylene glycol. The matching body oil uses a different fragrance blend, combining essential oils with extracts and absolutes.
