Moonlight on wet cobblestones. A bottle of white wine in the pocket of a suede coat. White flowers and kissed skin. Cherries and cigarette smoke linger on warm hair. The punks are in charge.
All about this fragrance
Vibe check
The club has emptied, but tobacco smoke still clings to a suede collar as you step onto wet cobblestones. Coffee and wine suggest the hours already passed; soft flowers bring the scene closer to skin. Moon Coat carries that unhurried, slightly defiant mood after the noise has subsided.
How to wear
The suede, tobacco and woody profile suggests cool evenings and transitional weather. Start with one or two sprays on skin, allowing the coffee and boozy accents to settle before adding more. Keep application light in warm rooms, where those richer facets may feel more prominent.
Who it’s for
For those drawn to textured leather fragrances, dry woods and smoky, boozy accents rather than overt sweetness. Its unusual mix of suede, wine, coffee and flowers suits a taste for perfumes that evoke lived-in objects and specific memories.

The nose
Markéta Maf is the perfumery name of Czech writer and artist Markéta Baňková. Her training combines independent study with courses in London and Grasse. Through Space Fluid, she approaches fragrance as an artistic medium for memory, emotion and imagined journeys through time. Moon Coat reflects that approach, translating the accumulated traces of a lived-in coat into perfume.
Space Fluid’s story
Space Fluid is an author-led perfume house that treats scent as a medium for memory and lived experience. Hand-blended in Prague, its fragrances combine natural materials with synthetic molecules, seeking unusual but wearable compositions rather than familiar perfume effects.
Moon Coat’s concept
Moon Coat imagines a coat as an archive of encounters, places and earlier selves. Its creative narrative moves from youthful rebellion—wine, rock-club smoke, coffee and cognac—to a more restrained present and an open future. The changing coat becomes a metaphor for adopting a new identity without abandoning the ideals beneath it.
Extra info
The standard 50 ml bottle bears a handwritten inscription fixed by firing; a hand-painted bottle is also offered. The composition includes less familiar floral materials such as daisy and linden alongside suede, roasted coffee and white wine.
