Orson is the New York chapter of 7 Lovers, created during a multiyear fragrance project. Dedicated to Orson Welles, whom Roitfeld admired but never met, it contrasts the flowers and polish of the Carlyle Hotel with the intimacy of an imagined downtown artist’s world. Its abundant florals and grounding resins give that contrast an olfactory form.
