Oddity’s story
.Oddity is a design-collective-led perfume house that connects visual art with olfactory composition. Its aesthetic finds beauty in imperfection: raw edges, exposed structures and natural textures. Small-batch production, handwork and sculptural packaging make the physical object part of the fragrance experience.
Resonant’s concept
Resonant emerged from .Oddity’s original three-fragrance project, which began with written stories and visual concepts rather than ingredient lists. Its brief imagined a perfectionist’s dream of rhythm, space and sharp curves, translated into bright citrus, ginger and metallic precision.
Extra info
Resonant’s handmade cap contains bismuth encapsulated in epoxy resin, with variations in shape and shade between pieces. The .Oddity packaging project, which included Resonant, received a D&AD Wood Pencil in Packaging Design in 2023.
