The LGBTQI series.
A clever tribute to Virginia Wolf’s era, the 1920’s, and an olfactive nod to the perfume style in fashion at the time. Virginia is inspired by the green, sharp confident florals balancing on the edge (or even intruding into) masculine scents, a style in which Guerlains Mitsouko was made, for example.
However, Virginia goes beyond a mere exercise in a vintage style. The perfumer introduces unconventional accords of dandelion, bluebell and chrysanthemum – the magic of English spring, which we take for granted, but to someone from the other side of the world is as exotic and amazing as their tropical breezes are to us.
