For centuries, sailors arriving through Hamburg's harbour, artists, musicians and night owls have shaped the neighbourhood's unmistakable character. Known for its independent spirit, iconic nightlife and historic red light district, Sankt Pauli is a place where stories begin. The fragrance captures the anticipation of an evening just unfolding, lifting the cocktail cherry from the first drink of the night.

The name Alyazia is associated with a rare and delicate gazelle, symbolising grace, elegance and natural beauty. With its traditional Bedouin roots, the name has a strong connection to the heritage of the Arabian Gulf. The fragrance opens with plush, tender violet, illuminated by a solar heart of wild strawberry and orange blossom. The cushioned base of iris, vanilla, tonka bean and sandalwood extends the “ahhhhhhh” of this comforting scent.

From LO’s Parfum Intense collection, this is an amber with the darkness turned up to 11. There’s no white space here, just expensive raw materials piled high. Its vibrant opening with fruity notes is enriched by the bitterness of coffee, deepening into a powerful chorus of rose, iris, jasmine and lily of the valley. And this valley is a deep one, a soft black expanse of leather, nagarmotha and patchouli, cushioned by a dirtier-than-usual amber.

Arcadia takes its name from the mythical paradise of ancient Greece. Two essential materials shape this perfume: iris and olibanum. For far too long, Tonka has been sacked off as poor man's vanilla. But no one should put this baby in the corner. In actual fact its warmth and richness make it a classic in its own right.
