An homage to the role of spices in Western perfumery, history and culture. Naturally it’s a majestic aromatic flow of cinnamon and ginger, with numerous sparks of pepper and a rich incense background.

This extrait is named for the archipelagic country in the South Pacific Ocean, source of the sandalwood in the base. Vanuatu is a lively, confident blend of spices (black pepper, cardamom, cumin) dappled across characterful woody materials (sandalwood, patchouli, cedar and papyrus). Putting meat on the bones is fig milk, with violet leaves adding sharp sparkle. A fragrance for unexpected adventures.

Blazing sunlight glistens then fractures on the roiling surface of an angry tropical sea. A caravel bobs among the waves, its tall sail blasted by hot, salty winds. Dangling beneath the ghostly vessel, a curtain of lethal tentacles sways menacingly in the swell. The Portuguese man o’ war drifts, letting its unwitting prey approach. Up to 100 feet long, their lacy tentacles exude crippling venom with the merest touch. In an instant, the prey is paralyzed, and as its organs slowly liquify, the colony of zooids begin to feed.

While it’s wise to avoid a Portuguese man o’ war in the wild, prepare for danger and excitement when you encounter this Zoologist perfume. Crisp ginger and metallic gunpowder deliver a fiery sting to open, before casting you adrift on a wave of briny seaweed absolute, immortelle and geranium. You’ll thrill to this enticing scent where the only pain is the delicious pang of longing.

Perilla Peach & Ginger is inspired by a Hunan summer drink of lime, herbs and honeyed fruit, served in a green glass jar as a little ritual against the heat. This vivid EdP opens on a lively burst of Thai lime and aromatic perilla leaf (shiso), layered with warm ginger and ripe peach. Gentle gardenia melts into a clean trail of white musk and warm labdanum.

A perfume formula originating in 1921 and still in production and demand. It has of course been adapted to modern tastes and industry rules.

It still features the materials and design that made it famous: a drop of French rose, a pinch of geranium, mixed with oakmoss and wrapped in smooth sandalwood. It’s an elegant sugar free rose perfume with musky, bitter woody background.

A soft fresh focus on clary sage after a storm, the bright flowering Mediterranean herb full of bright, uplifting tones. With classic fougere materials at the forefront and an artful blend of frankincense, tonka beans and sandalwood swirling in the background the effect is of a herb picked in the company of sweet fresh woods in the sunshine.

Almaz, the Arabic word for diamonds, are renowned not only for their beauty, but also for their timelessness as they withstand millions of years of immense pressure in their formation. This EdP references the indestructible nature of diamonds with a powerful blackcurrant-led bouquet. Juiciness is enhanced with raspberry, while powdery heliotrope and musk add padding to the cushiony feel. The ambered base, redolent with vanilla and brown sugar, offsets blackcurrant’s tartness.
 
The jewelled bottle incorporates a poem composed by Elen Jeres Ayoub, portrayed in Eastern Kufic calligraphy. The words have been meticulously placed so that the vertical lines create eight zones on the bottle, representing the lunar phases in each lunar calendar month to represent the passage of time.

Ramune is a traditional Japanese soda pop sold in a pale blue glass bottle sealed with a marble. The drink is evocative of Japanese summer festivals, carefree times illuminated by dreamy paper lanterns. This eau de parfum starts with the clear notes of lemon, aldehydes and mint, followed by gentle rose, muguet and magnolia, before drifting into musk and vanilla.

Conjuring the Garden of Eden by way of a supernatural green vanilla. A scent so sylvan it will feel as if you have wrapped yourself in verdant ivy. Gardenia deepens the green tones as tomato leaves bring a rich earthyness. Tonka beans are warm and creamy while red juicy raspberry contrasts for a vibrant edge.
